Zero covid cases in our nursing home!
excellence in caring
Large rooms, beautiful garden, and great people |
Welcome to Fowler residential care!! The 'new' nursing home opened up on JAN 13 1975. They moved all the residents from the 'old' hospital to the new home.
They were originally licensed for 33 beds and employed over 40 people from day one. Gary Turner was the ADM. Mary Helen Soba was DON. Fowler Nursing Home has large rooms available for the comfort of each resident. Moving can be hard, and we want to make sure the room they are coming into is relaxing and makes the transition easier. Residents can decorate their rooms with items from home. Hang up pictures or favorite paintings, bring your quilts or whatever makes you smile. Take a walk around our expansive grounds. Beautiful flower gardens and large grassy areas with tables and chairs for sitting and chatting with company. There is also a gazebo for enjoying the outside while staying in the shade. Meet our staff. Friendly, helpful well trained staff to make sure your loved one feels safe and cared for. |
Part of the joy of living in our home is the wonderful ability to see animals brought in by some of our staff. We have our lovely pointer, Daisy who is so sweet and gentle and loves to get pats. Baby goats, bunnies, pheasants, turkeys or any other surprises might show up for some love. They are kept in the common area and kenneled for ability to see and touch but not get under feet. Feel free to come and pet or hold an animal.
